Tony Di Viesti has more than 14 years of experience in motor vehicle hazard-related issues.

Mr. Di Viesti attended John Marshall Law School and is an attorney licensed in Illinois. He is a member of Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Di Viesti also holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University. During his eight years of design and manufacturing experience, he was granted seven U.S. patents.

Mr. DiViesti brings a wide range of skills and areas of expertise to Safety Research & Strategies, including: defect identification, component failure analysis, accident reconstruction, crashworthiness, post-collision fires, restraint systems and air bag control modules, seat strength and design, doors and door latch design, vehicle rollover, and trucking related crashes. He has also assisted attorneys handling product liability cases involving bicycles, snowmobiles, ATV’s, and a range of consumer products and machinery.

Tony Di Viesti has inspected and documented hundreds of accident vehicles and scenes, consulted on litigation in federal and state courts and on cases involving major manufacturers.
